Monthly small group play date. Students learned and practiced how to walk onto the stage, take a bow, perform and then walk off the stage. Then, students and parents had some snack while building meaningful connection and friendship.

Parents from diverse background, language and culture came out today to support encourage our young musicians' endeavors.

This student began his very first lessons in the November/December, 2022, as pictured, and got RCM Grade 2 in less than one and a half year. It was such an honor to work with such a talented individual.

Most awesome thing about being a piano teacher is that you get to partner with incredible and dedicated parents who are extremely intelligent and competent in their field.

Group play dates are so effective in preparing students for future performances as well as making piano training more collaborative and meaningful. Plus, students with various heritages get to embrace and learn from one another. Italian, Taiwanese, Korean, and Persian just to name a few.

Students receive specific ribbons for completing levels at biannual recitals. All performers received flowers to congratulate their performances.

This is the youngest student I got to work with. I used several different props to engage younger students and help them understand complex concept very easily. I break down the whole lessons into smaller increments and give students rewards for great focus.
